13HRP – 0117 – Warding Star

The 13HRP – 0117 – Warding Star is not a normal star but a broken piece of light formed when the first mirror shattered. Observations show it hangs constantly south of the planet’s spin line, staying still even as other stars move. It shines in a color beyond sight—pink only when remembered—and stays unseen by emotionless machines.

Early travelers in the Mirror World thought the Warding Star was a safe beacon that guided them through the dark. However, newer reports from Site AURORA describe the light as protective rather than kind. Its glow reacts to intent—pushing away those with bad motives and clearing dark thoughts from people’s minds. But it leaves behind a lasting mark called “The Halo Burn,” a faint image that remains in the eye.

The Star’s core once rested in a special metal called Rusty Gold (see 13HRP–0116). Over time, this metal broke down, splitting the star’s light into small crystal-like pieces. These fragments, now known as A13 micro-reactive cells, were later reused in consumer goods—linking them to 13HRP – 0109 – A13 Batteries.

Each cell holds a trace of the Warding Star’s energy: light that only appears inside mirrors. When many cells are put together, they hum softly in tune with hidden stars, and nearby objects twist slightly as if remembering lost starlight.

Attempts to rebuild the original star in labs always fail, ending instead in collapses of light that destroy their own glow. HRP researchers believe the Star’s existence depends on memory—it can only shine where someone believes it is still watching.

Reports from Site AURORA show that the Warding Star’s metal container was later broken apart and reused in consumer tech sold under the brand A13 Batteries. These units copied the star’s light by flipping it, creating illumination that appears only in reflections.

HRP researchers think each battery acts as a small reflection of the original engine, able to disturb nearby mirrors and photosensitive surfaces.
