Description
13HRP-0086, designated Meat Underwear, is a piece of branded merchandise from the Mac Zurger Mirror World franchise line. At first glance, Meat Underwear looks like novelty garments stitched together from raw burger patties pressed into a flexible textile form. Each piece carries a bold Mac Zurger logo seared across the waistband like a cattle brand.
Despite its grotesque build, Meat Underwear never spoils, leaks grease continuously, and always smells freshly cooked. Furthermore, when worn, Meat Underwear exerts a powerful memetic effect, driving both the wearer and nearby individuals into uncontrollable meat hunger.
Effects of Wearing 0086
- Phase I (0–10 min): The wearer develops cravings for Mac Zurger meals. Observers nearby report the smell of sizzling beef, even in sterile environments, linking the craving directly to Meat Underwear.
- Phase II (10–30 min): The wearer begins sweating grease. Hunger escalates to compulsive chanting of Mac Zurger slogans. Observers experience sympathetic cravings triggered by Meat Underwear’s presence.
- Phase III (30+ min): If left unchecked, the wearer attempts to consume raw meat directly — occasionally biting into the Meat Underwear itself. In rare cases, wearers have been recorded attempting to consume themselves, claiming “the Zurger is within me.”
Containment Procedures
- Store Meat Underwear inside a triple-sealed grease-proof container, refrigerated at -5°C.
- Personnel handling 0086 must wear respirators to block scent-based triggers.
- Testing is prohibited without approval from the Grand Council due to prior feeding frenzies (see Incident-0086-A).
Incident-0086-A
During a controlled test, one researcher placed Meat Underwear onto a mannequin. Within 15 minutes, four staff members in the chamber began violently consuming their rations while screaming “Mac Zurger forever!” At 22 minutes, one guard attempted to breach the container to retrieve more patties from Meat Underwear. All were sedated; mannequins were recovered intact but coated in human bite marks.
Cultural Notes
In Mirror World cult zones, Meat Underwear is sometimes displayed as sacred relics, worn ceremonially by leaders during “Grease Feasts.” Survivors of these rituals describe the room “melting into a fryer” while participants writhe in hunger ecstasy, claiming Meat Underwear connects them to the Zurger empire.
