Description
13HRP – 0074 – Red SilkFabric is a bolt of bright red silk, measuring about 4.6 meters long and 0.7 meters wide. The cloth feels smooth, warm, and alive to the touch. Even when torn, it seals itself quickly. Under a microscope, the fibers show organic qualities, looking like stretched muscle strands mixed with unknown crystal-like structures. Moreover, the fibers shimmer faintly under ultraviolet light, giving the impression that they hold their own pulse.
When touched by humans or animals, Red SilkFabric reacts at once. It clings to bare skin and tightens. In addition, tiny threads push into the skin and link with shallow blood vessels. The draining starts right away and moves through clear stages:
- Initial Contact (0–30s): Victims feel warmth and comfort, often describing the touch as safe or soothing. However, within moments the sensation shifts into something unsettling, showing how deceptive Red SilkFabric can be.
- Phase II (1–5m): The skin turns pale as the cloth spreads further. Victims grow dizzy and weak while the silk squeezes tighter, and at the same time the threads vibrate faintly like a living heartbeat.
- Phase III (5–15m): The fabric fully wraps the victim, forming a cocoon. Red SilkFabric drains about 1.2 liters of blood per minute until collapse. Finally, the cocoon hardens into a brittle shell, which crumbles once the silk retracts.
After feeding, Red SilkFabric folds back into its bolt form. Importantly, it always looks clean, never stained, no matter how much blood it absorbs. Consequently, 13HRP – 0074 – Red SilkFabric appears almost harmless when dormant.

Containment Procedures
- Store Red SilkFabric inside a sealed glass case, kept under negative pressure.

- No person may enter Containment Chamber 7C without full protective covering.
- Ban all testing on living beings after Incident-0074-A.
Recovery Log
Researchers discovered 13HRP – 0074 – Red SilkFabric in the wreckage of a tailor’s shop during Mirror Breach Event 019. Dozens of mannequins and bodies were cocooned and hung across beams. Additionally, a message was scrawled on one wall:
“The fabric does not clothe. It consumes.”
The scene suggested ritual use, and investigators noted fragments of ritual chalk near the collapsed loom. Red SilkFabric appeared central to the strange ritual, binding mannequins and humans alike.
Incident-0074-A
A technician brushed against Red SilkFabric while wearing protective gear. Despite three protective layers, the cloth pierced through and sank into the skin. Doctors amputated the limb to stop its spread. Consequently, the victim survived but later described recurring dreams of being “stitched shut from the inside.” These dreams intensified until staff introduced sedation protocols, which confirmed the lingering hold of Red SilkFabric.
