Description
Entity 13HRP – 0065 – Doctor Cryptic is an unusual physician who appears only in connection to Johnny (13HRP – 0004) and his hidden work inside the Mirror World. He looks like a man in late middle age, yet his body feels wrong: too tall, too thin, with fingers that stretch far beyond normal length when he works. His long coat resembles a doctor’s uniform, but its color shifts with the light — black in shadow, jade under lamps, and blood-red near fire.
Witnesses report that when Doctor Cryptic speaks, his mouth and words never match. Instead, his voice comes from behind the listener, creating dizziness and sickness.
Doctor Cryptic does not heal. Rather, he replaces, twists, or corrupts. He performs surgeries on Johnny’s followers and victims, implanting fragments of Mirror World artifacts such as shards of the Crimson Egg or strands of Lost Vas flesh. Survivors describe the feeling as being “rewired,” as though their memories were stitched together in the wrong order.
Connection to Doctor Richerd (13HRP – 0036)
While Doctor Richerd worked under an institution, Doctor Cryptic acts in secret with no oversight. He often calls Richerd “my discarded shell,” hinting that the two may be versions of the same being, split apart by Mirror World distortion. Some operatives believe they represent the same figure seen in broken timelines, while others argue Johnny created Cryptic as a deliberate counterpart.
