However, all versions always include references to “The Grin,” “The Melt,” and “The Offering.” Therefore, the manuscript resists fixed interpretation and acts as a living text. In addition, observers report that the letters seem to ripple when read aloud, as though reacting to the rhythm of the voice. Witnesses also claim that the parchment itself seems to breathe, expanding and contracting faintly as if alive. Shadows sometimes stretch unnaturally across its surface, even under bright light, suggesting the Doctrine may serve as a gateway rather than a mere object.
