13HRP-0108: Melted Choir

Description

13HRP-0108, known as the Melted Choir, is a sound-based entity linked to the Grand Council of Xikeony. Moreover, the Melted Choir appears as half-liquid human figures fused to the walls, ceiling, and altar of the Mirror Chapel. Their forms look warped, as though wax figures had melted and then frozen mid-drip. As a result, the entire room feels alive — breathing and humming with faint echoes of past prayers.

The Melted Choir’s reversed hymns fill the chamber, creating strange echo patterns that distort hearing and thought. Visitors who linger too long near the Melted Choir often experience:

  • Disrupted sense of time.
  • Violent flashes of corrupted faith or twisted imagery.
  • Involuntary mimicry of the choir’s reversed words.

Therefore, anyone exposed to the Melted Choir must be removed immediately to prevent ritual mimicry or mental collapse.

Designation: Liturgical Aberration

Location: Mirror Chapel (Sub-Section ██)
Status: Active

Behavior

The Melted Choir sings in unison until someone approaches. Then, the harmony fractures into dissonant tones that vibrate through walls, glass, and bone. Furthermore, witnesses claim that after seven minutes of exposure, new layers of screams can be heard under the music, though recordings reveal only silence. Attempts to silence or destroy the Melted Choir result in regeneration — more throats, more mouths, more sound.

Because of this, all interaction with 13HRP-0108, also called the Melted Choir, requires approval from the Grand Council of Xikeony and strict auditory isolation.

Lore Note

The Mirror Chapel was the first place where reversed hymns were sung to open a gateway to Johnny’s realm. Consequently, 13HRP-0108 may be the lingering echo of that ritual — the Melted Choir acting as both warning and living relic. Moreover, the Choir may serve as a spiritual amplifier for the Council’s power. Each note sustains the connection between the Hollow Realm and its ruling body, suggesting that the Melted Choir’s voice is an extension of the Council itself.

Containment Protocol

All recordings of the Melted Choir must be stored under Black Door Classification. Early translations of its reversed hymns reference “The Hollow Bride” and “The Blood Canon.” Additionally, only trained hymnal initiates with resistance to sound-based influence may enter the Mirror Chapel.

Under no condition should anyone attempt to sing with the Melted Choir. (Refer to Incident 0108-4A for fatal outcomes.) Furthermore, all containment personnel must use noise-null helmets to avoid auditory contamination.

Directive – Grand Council of Xikeony

Classification: High Ordinance / Hollow Governance
Access Level: 7 (Council Authorized Only)

Overview

The Grand Council of Xikeony governs the Hollow dominions, including the Melted Choir’s territory. Their decrees reshape time and space through spoken law. Moreover, the Council’s orders sustain entities like 13HRP-0108, allowing the Melted Choir to continue singing even when physically destroyed. Consequently, these laws act as metaphysical bindings between voice and matter.

The Council consists of thirteen shadowed figures known only through echoing voices. When they appear, reality bends: doors lengthen, walls breathe, and the air smells faintly of wax. Witnesses often report that their bones vibrate with the same rhythm as the Melted Choir, suggesting resonance between Council and Choir.

Directive Contents (Excerpt ██/13)

“All husks bound by Hollow tether shall obey Johnny until the fire of return is quenched.
All gates shall remain sealed, save those chosen by the Council.
The Flesh Windows shall not be dismantled.
To resist is to fracture. To fracture is to feed.
This is the law of Xikeony.”

This decree directly links the Melted Choir to the Council’s laws, maintaining control over the Mirror Chapel and preventing collapse of the Hollow dominions.

Implications

  • Obedience: The Melted Choir enforces the Council’s will through song.
  • Time Shifts: Its reversed hymns cause echoes to move backward through time, altering cause and memory.
  • Replication: Fragments of the Choir’s melody appear in other Hollow sites, implying shared origin across the dominions.

Moreover, these traits connect the Melted Choir to Johnny’s power and his influence over Hollow-bound followers.

Directive Status

The Council’s current decree ties the Melted Choir to several known Hollow phenomena:

  • Johnny’s transformation into a half-demon.
  • Preservation of “Flesh Window Houses.”
  • Containment limits within the Mirror Chapel where 13HRP-0108 resides.

Additionally, the directive upholds unity among the fractured dominions and ensures entities like the Melted Choir remain under control. Therefore, all operatives must treat its containment as a sacred obligation.

Note: Scholars disagree whether the Melted Choir serves the Council directly or if it exists as Johnny’s echo within the Hollow. Nevertheless, its link to the Council of Xikeony remains undeniable. Furthermore, recent spectral readings show that every time the Choir sings, faint signatures of the Council’s voices overlap — suggesting they are still listening.
