Object Class: Grey–Crimson Tier — Spatial Anomaly / Commercial Loop

Alternate Names: “The Shop That Never Ends,” “Aisle 95,” “Red Desert Mart”

Description

13HRP-0095, designated Infinite CornerShop, is a small corner shop located in the northern desert of [REDACTED]. From the outside, it appears as a weathered building no larger than a petrol station kiosk, its sign reading “Open Always.” However, once inside, the Infinite CornerShop transforms into a labyrinth of endless aisles. Rows of shelves stretch into horizons of fluorescent-lit corridors. In addition, attempts to map the interior have failed, as aisles loop back on themselves or stretch into new configurations depending on the observer’s focus. Consequently, navigation remains nearly impossible. The Infinite CornerShop therefore represents both a spatial trap and a commercial illusion.

Known Properties

  • Infinite Stock: Shelves are always full. Goods vary from normal snacks and magazines to surreal products (e.g., “Mac Zurger Dream Fries,” “Butter in a Jar – Screaming Edition”). Furthermore, the shelves refill instantly when items are removed. This effect reinforces the unnatural draw of the Infinite CornerShop.
  • Temporal Distortion: Clocks and watches stop working once inside. Observers report feeling hours pass, while outside less than five minutes elapse. Therefore, time inside the Infinite CornerShop does not follow normal rules and distorts human perception.
  • Customer Illusion: Human-shaped figures wander the aisles but vanish when approached. Moreover, their faces are always blurred, which makes them appear dreamlike. Witnesses frequently insist the Infinite CornerShop fills these illusions with fragments of familiar people.
  • Exit Instability: The shop door is never in the same place twice. As a result, some explorers never find it again, becoming “permanent customers.” The Infinite CornerShop therefore functions as both prison and lure.

Containment Procedures

  • External site cordoned off under Council jurisdiction. Consequently, locals remain barred from approaching the Infinite CornerShop anomaly.
  • No unsanctioned entry permitted. Moreover, violators face immediate disciplinary action. The Infinite CornerShop must never be treated as a simple curiosity.
  • Drone mapping attempts continue. However, no drones have yet returned intact, and further missions remain under review. All future entries into the Infinite CornerShop require layered oversight.

Recovery Notes

First discovered by desert patrols after locals reported “a shop in the sand that nobody leaves.” Investigators entered and returned disoriented, carrying nonsensical receipts printed with Mac Zurger logos. In addition, their memories of time inside conflicted with one another, suggesting the Infinite CornerShop manipulates perception as well as space. Later reports confirmed that explorers who returned still dreamed of walking aisles that did not exist, implying the Infinite CornerShop lingers in the mind even after leaving.

Directive – Grand Council of Xikeony (Seal)

“Do not enter. Do not purchase. The CornerShop sells nothing worth the price.”
— Grand Council of Xikeony, Edict 95.Θ

“Mark 0095 as hunger disguised as convenience. It is not shop, not service, but endless loop.”
